Lately, our team joined the seminar "Carbon Footprint and Labelling" a joint project held by EU Commission user the Thailand-EC Cooperation Facility Program. We found out that one of the main bottlenecks of the application is the lack of data and analysis capability. Either the data was not recorded, or too much data without proper storage and data mining techniques, lead to lower confidence when determining carbon emission and its footprint.

PM could be used to solve this proving systematic multidimensional data capturing and warehousing together with analyzing capability with pre-built LCA/SFA model. A 10 dimensional variable model was built and tested in our laboratory, results were at satisfactory. LCA hotspots were easily determined and managed.
